Just wondering if anyone has any info on how the Battle of Britian sim
is coming along. Last I heard they were targeting this Christmas as a
release date. Any info would be appreciated.

Ubisoft typically release thier games here in NZ the same time as the US and
Europe and BoB has been put back to April as of a month ago. So probably

Hey thanks Rob. I've seen some mention of BoB upgrades and such, but
I figured they were referring to something else. I don't mind delays
if it means getting it right. Check six.

There has, AFAIK, been no official release date given for "Storm of War:
Battle of Britain" (as the official name is).

It'll be done when it's done Smile

Is there even an official website for this game? I've hit other sites
and not once has there been a link posted that provides a site. The
good news about the 'delay' of this game, is the hardware slated to
come out soon should do an amazing job running this game in all it's
full glory.

According to Gogamer.com, the release date is listed as Dec, 2008... so if
that is true, the game has been pushed back a year.

IIRC.

I understand that but doesn't anybody find it odd that there's not an
official website for this game full of screen shot, game play footage,
unit descriptions, etc..? I really want to play this game whenever it
arrives but I'm concerned that this mother of all flight sims might
just be vaporware. I want to see a fancy website full of killer
content regarding this game. I guess until I see that, I'm very
cynical about this game ever reaching a game store shelf.

Maybe Oleg learnt from last time, and the infamous "two weeks", and has
decided not to hype the game any before it's actually close to ready
and being shipped?

Um, there IS an official web page and there are many pictures put out of
their work on this.

You must not have looked very hard.

Ever try a search engine?

And YES there is a web sight.

It's called www.il2sturmovik.com/

Just click on developers updates. And also check their forums.

That is where all the development photos and dev info is at. You just have
to look for it. The photos usually have the BOB designation in their name.

Also there are many third party pages that mirror the same photos and
animations etc:

Wow, you mean there's a thing on the web called a 'search engine'?
That's amazing. Thanks for letting me know that. You and Mr. Gore
have at least one thing in common, you both invented the internet.

My point still stands: where's the official www.storm_of_war_bob.com
website?
