One of my players wanted his character (12 fighter) to do "the
walk"...
Thats the thing where you cut your intestine out and stick it onto a
stake, take ten steps back (your intestines pulling out as you go) and
see how many times you can go in a circle around it until you die.
So I made up some rules on the spot;
fortitude save dc 20 to take the ten steps backward or die,
fortitude save dc 25 to walk around the stake once or die,
+5 dc every trip around the circle,
on a natural 20 you not only succeed, but the dc only increases by 1
instead of 5 on the next go-round
So he chucks all his magic gear, and refuses any magic spell buffs
except for the bard to play bagpipes for a +2.
He made it 8 times! Rolled three natural 20's! His last roll was a
natural 1.
They turned him to stone so it would be a permanent monument to
radness.
