I just bought a PS3 online; I got the Wal-Mart deal where you get a $100.00
online gift card with the purchase. Actually, I've been drooling to buy a
next gen system, whether it be PS or XBOX. Based on the Wal-mart deal, I
went with the PS3... Of course I also bought GTA: IV, along with the
HDMI/USB cable (gotta have that HD), Sony Blu-ray remote, and the advance
purchase of "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots w/ BONUS Metal Gear
Saga 2.0", and the Blu-Ray edition of '300'... so with the gift card I
picked up the remote, and the blu-ray '300'... can't wait!!! Here's the
rub- I bought everything at 5:30 AM this morning, and am going to have to
wait days for it to be delivered. Okay, I've just re-read this post and it
sounds like a whole lot of bragging... that's not my intent, I'm just so
excited!!! |

Instead of buying movies, since I'm a Netflix subscriber, what I did
was set my preference there for Bluray, so automatically all the
movies in my queue that have a Bluray version are being sent Bluray
(it's nice that there is no extra cost for that, even though a Bluray
is much more expensive than a DVD).
I haven't felt the need for a remote for movies though. The
controllers are wireless, and I can do all I need from them
(basically, play, stop, skip, rewind, etc) >> Stay informed about: Can't wait!!!! |

WTF? I could have been getting Bluray on Netflix? Doggonit. That's
why I haven't watched any Bluray movies because I wasn't going to pay

Wow, you guys need to get in the game. lol. I got Netflix BECAUSE i had a
PS3. I love it now. 
Yeah, i dont really feel the need for a remote to play movies. Once they're
playing i dont usually do much but pause if i need to hit the potty.

Really? This was one of the first things I did when I got my PS3, so we
could start getting blu-ray discs in the mail. I was very impressed that
all you had to do was check a box in your settings page, and it
automatically updated your entire queue. Niiice!

True... you need one of those.
I got mine imported about a month before they release here. Since no one was
bidding, i got them for less than US prices with included shipping. Not only
that but the guy messed up the order and shipped me an extra. BOGO for the
