"Nightmare Busters, an great unreleased game for the Super Nintendo!
This sample is dated 1995, the developer was Nichibutsu. The first
known prototype was found on Ebay in 2007.

Nightmare Busters is an arcade style game just like Metal Slug or
Contra, it has an simultaneous 2 player mode.

When you see this game in action it is a shame it was never released,
the graphics are simply amazing and in my opinion it is one of the
best looking games on the snes. I just finished the game (it is
terrible hard even on easy!) and the game seems 99% complete. It has 5
big and varied worlds, in the final level you have to fight all bosses
again before you fight the end boss. There is so many happening on the
screen but I could never notice any slowdown, the programmers really
did a great job on this one!"
