I've got dusty battleground marks! Heres some ideas Blizz ..

Not sure, there must be more alliance than horde I guess. a lot more.
typically it's been 30-60 minutes on alliance just to get into av,
which makes gathering marks SLOOOOOW, to say the least. lately though
it's been about 20 minutes. a/b is next with a wait of typically 10-20
minutes and warsong is the easiest to join around 5-10 minutes from
what i've seen over the past couple days.

Yeah I'm kicking myself for not building all my 60's on the horde side
now....

Yeah, I'm not sure what the point of the marks even is. Seems silly to
have marks and have honor. Just get rid of marks.

How do you have so many marks and so little honor? Are all those marks
from losing AVs? I could see getting lots of AB marks while losing,
getting little honor being 5 capped all the time, but in AV losing and
getting not enough honor? Do you go hide in a corner? Most BG items are
20-40 marks, so even buying 1 item should cut into your supply. If you
don't have the honor you need yet, why don't you do a different style
of BG. Once you get 30(I think) of each mark you can get an epic mount
for zero honor, thus using up your extra tokens and letting you build
up honor.

I have 100 AB marks, I bought the Warlord Shoulders and Pants before
the honor nerf. All my toons are Horde so one two day long grind with a
t2+ (most are t2 with t3 jargon) premade during AB weekend.

And yeah, lots of losing AV's = very little honor which is why I hate
AV since half the time it starts with "We need defence" "No just rush
AS" "Lets kill Bal and all the leuts for more honor" "STFU noob rush"
and ends with "You guys sux noobs" etc...

why would the wait time be that different? wouldn't the horde still have
to wait around for the alliance?

The marks make you earn part of it in a specific BG. Without BGs you
could technically earn all your own in World PvP or if one of the BGs
earns honor faster than all the others, everyone would only play in one
BG. Also, the "price" of items can be tweaked by requiring different
amounts of marks and honor. If the rate you earn honor and marks gets
out of balance, then yes, something should be done, but I don't think
getting rid of them is a good idea.

Because there are lots more Alliance than Horde players. The excess
Alliance players are stuck waiting for the next match.

wow, guess i was lucky last night...it was my first BG/PvP experience.
someone took me to AB and we did it twice. both times the wait was no
more than about a minute

Ever since the patch the only BG I ve been able to go to is WG my least
favorite. Either I get DCed or all I am is a black dot!! worse than that I
make it to the battle engage in combat and everything freezes. I ve tried
several times to no avail. I have the same problem on the Zep I might have
to ride it from Org to STV 3 times before I can get off. I find myself
taking the boat to BB and either flying to SoS or making a run for it out of
the tunnel. It really sucks if a ppl are waiting on me.

Hmm AV is the best BG to lose imo, you get almost the same honor if win or
lose the important is to kill all in the middle and cap all bunkers. You get
only around 30 honor for winnning (too little). Most AV I did lately got me
around ~200 honor for losing and ~250 for winning (after nerf data). Games
last from 15-25 min (14 min was my record for the win).
AB lasts 30 min (in PUG) and gives 150 honor :S and WSG is awful in PUG you
can waste 1h with 0 honor... Go for the flag!!! stop zerging in the
middle... if you dont go in ally base I drop the flag in 1 min... Help flag
carrier, heal him ....
BTW got 30k honor from sunday in AV

Agreed. AB seems particularly favoured right now for the epic items,
too much so IMHO but then again Blizz might want to drive traffic to
that BG -- it was clearly the least popular before the honour system
reset.

One thing you can do is buy all 4 of the epic mounts -- i think they
only require tokens vs tokens + honour. Kind of a waste, but not
tremendously so.

I think the BG rep items should require BG tokens only -- no honour.
Save the honour for world pvp items/sets. That's another way of burning
up the tokens.

BTW, anyone notice that hte ice threaded bullets/arrows are still 45sp
each, while the new 22dps ammo is only 12sp? Someone needs to revisit
the vendor pricing.

The only char that I have that uses ammo is a rogue and normally I
don't do much pulling since I got blade flurry.

I love AB, it was my favorite since its designed to not turn into a 2
hour long ordeal.

I've also noticed in AV that Us hordies are turtling and just farming
honor infront of drek while like 10 go kill Bal and all the leuts.

Eh, I've never been that huge of an AV fan since I seem to win like 1
in 10 whereas AB gets me 8 out of 10 on good days 50% on bad days.
