Working fine on Debian Linux now. Just patch 3369. Must be a driver problem for
my card on Windows ?

I'm beginning to wonder if there's not a problem in your GPU.

Could well be. I've been monitoring the temperature, and it's always around
54-57 degrees celsius. I think that's pretty normal. It doesn't have a fan,
just a huge heatsink.

Oh well. At least it's working now. I just hope it continues to do so.

So you're good to go?

If you want to take another crack at getting it to work under Windows,
then I would recommend a re-install of the game. Adding patches,
removing patches, etc. might have gotten things a bit sideways. Many
times I've seen people in this newsgroup report cryptic problems that
were solved by a re-install.

But if you're happy with UT under Linux (and there's no reason you
shouldn't be) then frag on!

Too right. Enough troubleshooting for the time being, although no doubt the
Windows investigation will resume at a later date.

Just got to get my excuses in order now. Including but not limited to :

* it has been a while since I played
* my mouse isn't working right
* damn ISP keeps slowing down my connection
* you're obviously cheating

.... amongst many fine others.

I will be on the Zoom Instagib deathmatch/team deathmatch/ctf servers
getting picked off at random.

It's good to be back. Smile

Regards,

Nrth.
