Post subject: out of the tv screen
Archived from groups: alt>games>video>xbox (more info?)

I don't understand why, using X-DSL, the desktop is bigger than tv
screen; so I can't see many icons, windows, etc.
This also happens using some emulators like xboyadvance.
What can I do?

This is probably caused by your TV's overscan. Overscan cuts off the
edges of the screen. Most games take this into account and so you never
notice it.
