One more troubleshooting question

First, thanks for all the suggestions a time back when I changed vid cards
and was correcting a dilemma then.

Now, this is my final issue.

I can play any game out there with high frame rates, no stutter, etc
etc.(HL2, DOD source, CS source, BF1942, BFV, BF2.)

EXCEPT for TFC, one of my favorite games.

No matter what server, the game will have short stutters throughout the map
time.

I have uninstalled TFC and reinstalled etc etc.

Why does this one game want to do this.

Like I said, ALL other games play like champs.

This wouldn't be to do with type32.exe would it? I can run the source stuff
fine, but TFC and DOD go loopy - sluggish etc. unless I end-task type32.exe and
then all is fine. In fact, I wrote myself a little vb app and put a shortcut on
my quicklaunch bar to do exactly this (yeah, I know, too much time on my
hands...)
