Hello all,
I have a track and field that I just got working. It worked great no
problems for about a week, then intermittently red vertical lines come
on the screen. I know it is not the monitor but on one of the two
boards. Any help?

Additionally, does anyone knows which rom chip has the data for when
the characters are squatted over just before they run? Need to burn
that one.
Jim

I did not get any replys, but I figured I would post an update. The
red lines were caused by a low +5v. Missed it initially because I was
checking at the PS. I was getting +5volts at the PS and when I
checked on the board it was down to 4.5volts!!!! I was using a cheap
10$ harness and there apparently is a large voltage drop on the
wires. Normally there are 4 wires - probably #14 or 16 feeding the
+5v. This harness had only 1 wire and is probably a 16 or 18 (bigger
numbers are thinner).

Still have not found out which chip to reburn.
