Hi, Smile

Question #1:
If you were to recommend a new graphic card for me, which one would you
recommend: ATi or nVidia? I currently have a Radeon x700 Pro.

Question #2:
How do you preserve a tulip bulb? My tulips are now finished, and I need
the soil for my summer crops, so I need to dig those tulips out. They are
now some quite fatty bulbs, and I'll replant them for next winter. But in
the mean time, how would you save them for the summer hybernation? I am in
California so it can get hot, and recently has been humid (even the
unplanted ones sprout without soil).

I prefer Nvidia cards myself. Not huge amounts of difference between
them in the same price range.

Take them out, kknock off all the dirt you can easily, put them in a
paper bag, store them in a cool closet.

The driver for ATi has been horrible lately. I think a lot of my games
stop behaving properly. That's why I begin to think about getting a new
one. OTOH, nVidia's graphic quality has always been a little inferior for
the sake of performance. It's a tough call.

Thanks. I'll do that.

I've been using nVidia for something like six years now, so I guess
I'm a fanboy. The only item that would make me think twice is that
some people over on Overlock.net have been saying that the ATI cards
can do both AA and HDR in Oblivion with the new driver, but the nVidia
cards are architecturally incapable of doing both. Something to think
about if you're an Oblivion fan, I suppose.

Hmm. In English your say "Talk of the devil". In Norwegian (see, I've
learnt to use capitals) we say "Mens vi snakker om solen", transalted this
means "Talk of the sun" (or perhaps "Talking about the sun"), which IMO is
much friendlier.

I wonder if there's a lesson to be learned here.

Oh, pretty good I guess. Playing Baldur's Gate 2 and Resident Evil 4,
trying to get a promotion at work, the Reds are doing well, blah blah

Well, some people say "Speak of the devil". Just some more useless
information.

Sounds generally good, which I'm pleased to hear. Especially the blahs
-- they're always handy to have around.

In swedish it's "speak of trolls", or "speaking of trolls", or "when we/you
speak of the trolls"...

Swedes are scary.

Speak of Vikings.... Anyways, I thought Sweden and Norway were the same
country before, how come there is this kind of dialectic difference?

-Ssh, don't tell anyone.

And of course...
