| I am hoping to get started on .NET C# version of WinACE soon.
It should be usable with Mono on other platforms like Linux.
It is a while away if you are looking for current clients.

This is true, of sorts. I do my own personal maintenance on
ptkei as I think I may be one of the only users of it. It
typically only takes a few tweaks here and there to work with
the various (f'd up) things that dieties come up with.
It currently works with the latest version of wolfpack as
tested in Plundy's test game. (Or at least well enough that
the little quirks I'm already well used to don't bother me.)

i just had an email conversation with the old maintainer of ptkei, and yes,
he doesnt maintain it anymore, nor play empire.
i also maintained ptkei, so it runs with the current version of the server,
and fixed a few other things.
i may release a new version of ptkei, so everyone could use it again.
so, anyone, which has made own patches, please send them to me, and i can
incorporate them.

One thing needed is a "diff" command, so co-rulers can see what their
idiot^h^h^h^h^h other excellent co-rulers have changed since the last
time one logged in
-AK
-still trying to learn how to be a good co-ruler
ps- anyone remember the opening scenes from "Dr. No", the James Bond
movie that started it all? >> Stay informed about: On the topic of clients |

You can get all the basic changes by using xdump [sect|ship|land|etc] *
?timestamp=lasttimestamp.
Set the timestamp to last time you were on.
Are you asking for WinACE or some other client?

I have quietly started upgrading Empire.pm module and the pei client.
Hopefully a slim release is due soon. Then I'll rework a few tools like
mapper, and later resume working on expanded pei (tools + Tk interface).
