Blessing of Sanctuary (or Blessing of Kings). You may want to use
Retribution aura for maximum threat generation or Devotion aura for
more protection to you and your group members. Resistance auras are
good for specific fights, but they don't stack with resistance buffs
from other players (totems etc). Pull with Avenger's shield. If the
mob is a quick trash mob, judge Righteousness. If it is a more durable
trash mob or a boss, judge Crusader in the beginning of the fight. Use
Seal of Righteousness. Use Consecration especially with multi-mob
pulls, but remember that it breaks CC, so you have to be careful with
it. Use lower ranks of it if you have mana problems. Always keep Holy
Shield up. Make sure Righteous Fury is active.

Set hotkeys for marking mobs if you don't have them already.

Search this group for a Righteous Defense macro. Use it.

Righteous Defense doesn't generate aggro. It pulls mobs off people
who have And no, it's useless if the mob is already attacking
you, even says so in the tooltip. But, there's a nice macro in the
backlogs of AGW that allows you to use it on the mob that's been
pulled, instead of having to target the player who pulled it.

For buff tracking, DOTimer works, and there are other add-ons like
ElkBuffBar which will do similar.

Man this is my only aoe and I thought I was doing a good thing and
generating agro on everyone...

can I target self with this?

where. I know we can't have an auto rebuff but is there something like

Consecrate is *absolutely fine* if you pull back so that it doesn't break
crowd control. Let the mages polymorph and the rogues sap first, then use
Avenger's Shield to pull everyone back away from the CCed enemies so that
your Consecrate doesn't extend to them.

My guild is small, and our only level 70 tank is a paladin, while I play a
mage, so I'm quite used to the interaction.

I haven't tried to use it without a macro yet, but I've heard that it
was changed, yes. The tooltip is still the same though. This skill
works protecting NPCs too, but I don't remember whether you had to
target the NPC or the hostile mob.

Well you can do this since the new patch as Avengers shield wont hop
to a CCd target anymore, but its still risky, espicially in heroics or
a raid.

For me, the tank pulls and no one else (A hunters miss direction is
the exception to the rule :p)

Did the last patch changed something on Righteous Defense ? It seems that I
can cast it on the mob when he decide to go beat my healer, and it works.

Nice that they made this change. Weird that they didn't do it at the
same time they did the same for warrior's Intervene several patches ago
-- that made a macro unnecessary and the skill very easy to use.

ok, i use judgment of wisdom, (mana generation on hit) seal of rightouses
(threat generation) i also use, rightouse fury, increase threat from holy
dam,

in instaces, alway pull back out of any cc mobs and use lvl 1 conceratrion,
huge threat generation low cost (120 mana), also holy shield, and eventually
you will need to get defence, parry,block and dodge, all over 102.4% for
uncrushable, u need 490 defence for uncrittable.
