Ahem. Erm. Hello everyone! I'm thinking of rejoining PW soon...not as
frequently as I used to, but, eh.

Either way, I'm at least keeping tabs on the group again.

So. Uh. Hullo. Smile

Cheers!

Amber

Hurrah! Welcome back! Each post of yours is like a Pal Park Pokémon from
the past.

(I may need to play a bit less Pokémon. I earlier compared someone to a
Jigglypuff in serious conversation.)

> Either way, I'm at least keeping tabs on the group again.

Shouldn't be hard with current traffic. But then, it's all terribly
exciting, thanks to the New Game Buzz.

*chortles* I know, I'm just that awesome. Wink

No seriously, thanks for the welcome back. I missed everyone! And I'm
trying to convince Marco to join up again too, but I don't know that he
will...

Man, I hope the traffic steps up. I've already gone through the posts
from the past two weeks. Egads!

I know the feeling! Still, I've been out of control these past few days,
getting excited about DP. Let's hope it's catching!

Augh! No kick, no kick!

I'll probably come back in, for sure. I need to get my ass back in
gear and doing some writing anyways. We'll see how it goes, though...

Excellent! As ever, threats of physical violence yield results.

And it's not all about the writing, you know! We get up to all sorts in
here! You should see the stuff Google refused to archive.

Just checked Google Groups - it's been three years, almost to the day, since
her last post. Astounds me how quickly time passes when you, um, don't
check the group for two years.

It feels that the older the group gets, the harder it becomes to keep in
touch with people. Changes of e-mail addresses and screennames, abandoning
of old hang-outs ... The death of the AGNP chat on AIM was a real shame, I
think, especially since it managed to last such a surprisingly long time
even when the group was less active. I think the chat's beyond all hope of
resurrection now, despite Regulus popping over a while back to instruct
everyone to attend, zombie-style.

Still, activity breeds activity, and interest in the new games creates that
activity. I was thrilled to see Continue back - that's a real sign of
discussion, in my book.

And that, I think, is the reason the group's remained so strong - even now,
an all-time low in terms of post count, there's still a real sense of
excitement, and it's still nowhere near hitting many of the lows that the
likes of AGP managed. As far as I know, no conscious effort (akin to
Regulus's) to shoot up activity has ever worked, but it's also never really
been needed - when the source material's as strong as the likes of DP, you
can't help but be drawn back ...

(At least, that's my excuse for twenty-four posts in three days ...)

The chat died? I have been thinking of putting AIM back on my
computer just to chat. Would be a good way of checking to see if it
was Pal Pad Trade time.

Yay activity!

Hey, I watched all the credits to check and see if Nob was still
translating. Made my day to see his name there. Smile

I'd certainly be interested in that. I'll do my best to be in the AGNP chat
whenever I'm online. Though, you know, time zones and all ...

Yeah! Apparently, his team got to translate the Pokémon names and
everything this time around, which is probably why none have turned out like
Feraligatr.
