I just won a game at Prince level via speceship victory, playing on an
Archipelago - Tortuous Continents (translating from Italian, maybe
this name is different in the original) with low sea level. My civ
(China) and only 6 other civs on a huge map. First encounter was
around 200 BC... I won only thanks to my spies sabotaging spaceship
construction in Victoria's main cities, LOL, this world sux Wink
Next game will start like this: first, research all the techs to
exploit terrain, upto iron working at least, then run for Code of Laws
to reduce cities maintainance costs and start expanding my empire over
the initial 5 ot 6 cities, then pump up with economy techs and then,
finally, aim straigth to nuclear missiles and try a nuclear conquest
victory. I still have to try those cookies in Civ4 and just cant' wait
to see them fly Wink

I'm afraid you will be disappointed. They only cause
damage, not destruction of enemy units and they cause
random destruction of farms all over the globe so
you'll have to check every city every turn to make
sure your subjects aren't starving. They aren't
that much fun to watch, either. I recommend rise
of nations if you find nuclear destruction enjoyable.

Yeah, it's not that fun. Better stick to old strategies.
