This discussion is merely a means to try to see what the majority of
players play. Meaning which side of the fence do you represent. Reply
to this by saying wether you are alliance or horde, what server, and
what class. No need to list every toon you have, just your main. To
start things I will say this:
I am Horde For Life

Like a few people, I started out as Alliance, and played that faction
for months. One day I created a Horde toon on another server as a
lark, and couldn't imagine going back to Alliance now. The silly thing
is, I can't put my finger on exactly why I am enjoying Horde much
better; I just am.
Anyway, my "main" is Truzla, my lvl 40 Troll hunter (I had a NE
Hunter, but never enjoyed her like I am this Troll; again, for reasons
I can't explain). I also have a lvl 12 BE Priest. This is on
Quel'dorei, population of, last time I checked, 6,100.

I haven;t noticed. Mainly because Argent is bursting at the seams with
alliance. Were always outnumbered, and EVERY alliance on that server
has exquisite gear. Sickening really. But thats just my bitter
opinion. My first toon was alliance, made it to 51. Now I cannot stand
the alliance side. Nothing about it intices me.

I used to be alliance. Level 69 hu rogue from Nathrezim PvP (now on
Thunderhorn PvE). I levelled tons of alliance toons but they haven't been
played in ages. They're basically ALL retired (L40 hu priest, L45 hu pally,
L60 ne warrior, L30 dw hunter, L25 ne druid, L20 dr shaman, L20 hu 'lock,
L32 hu mage) Yeah I know, I played WAY too many humans. Couldn't shake the
benefit of +10% to reputation...
FOR THE HORDE! I am a horde-only player now I have two 'mains'
L57 troll hunter on Thunderhorn PvE
L2 bloodelf rogue on Nathrezim PvP
More horde toons to come once the hunter dings 70 and the rogue gets to
around 50+. >> Stay informed about: A survey of the world |

My first character was Alliance, but ever since I started Horde I really
feel much more comfortable playing that side! Alliance I use the
Undermine server, and Horde I use Thrall (I think Thrall's economy
better, things sell for much more, but of course cost more to buy too!).
Right now I'm a BE hunter. >> Stay informed about: A survey of the world |

Aren't there bigger surveys, and official census data
out there that can answer this question? This newsgroup
is such a tiny fraction of the total population, and
surveys are always self-selected, so such a survey would
give little valid data.

Well I'm not going to write a report on it or anything. But when I
bought BC on release day, i had 3 friends on the horde side, and we
were literally surrounded by alliance players. So I thought I would
start this and see what kind of results turn out. >> Stay informed about: A survey of the world |

I don't know if that's true.
I just did another census of my server. Two weeks ago it had a
population of about 6,100, with 56% being Horde and 44% being
Alliance. Now the population is 7,854, with Alliance representing 54%
and Horde representing 46%.
