So I was trying out on of the third-party Race maps in Assault, and I
wrecked my vehicle. It didn't blow up, it flipped over. And I don't
know how to flip it back over. If I went back to base (and the only
way to do that is to jump off the ledge), I'd have had to start over
from the beginning.
So I went online and found the summon codes. I summoned a hellbender,
and >squish<.
The damn truck was spawned right on top of me, making me dead.
If that isn't the most useless cheat code in existence, I don't know
what is. |

Like Stone Cold said.... press the "use" key.
But yeah, the few times I've tried summoning a vehicle it lands on me.
I guess if you did it at the right place, where you could stand on a
ledge or something, it might work.
Back when I ran a UT99 server, on rare occasions when things were slow
I would summon monsters on a standard DM server map. There's nothing
like summoning a Titan on the roof of Phobos.... it's always

I remember a few good games of CTF where the admin would throw in a few
"summons" to spice up the game. I'm guilty of saying "WTF" when I run across
something that doesn't belong in a particular map. That was good times, as

can't summon redeemers and instagib guns, thereby dominating the game.

I don't know where the "line" is on the summon command. TBH, the only

Port scan? - My firewall alerted me to two port scans, immediately following an online game of ONS. I traced it back to the organisation that runs the game server. Is there a legitimate reason why they'd do this? Can anyone else involved in the game view my IP,..
Good ping but lots of lag - Can someone tell me what is going on when I play a game my ping is less than 200, which I consider good, but I seem to get lots of lag. I am starting to think it must be at my end but even when I download a new game, the download goes very slow! Al
Switching Windows in Linux - Is there a way to switch focus between UT and other open windows like say, Gaim... I think in MS Windows its ALT-TAB but the Linux equivalent won't work when I'm playing UT but work with other applications. Thanks Mark
