Anyone else had strange VCR probs with high tech weapons??

Howdy,

Recently last 2 turns, had low tech researched , only tech 4 large
weapons.
But due to some Amphs had some tech 10,9 and 7 weapons etc.

In the latest updates, my ships seem to not have fired a shot.
Their small weapons and other low tech large weapons did.

In this latest case, the ships power did exceed the weapon drain.
But the PPC did not fire.

In the first instances, 4 ships with LTLA's did not shoot but their
small weapons did. Though they did have a short fall in power.
Though large power bank, but did not attack second wave.

ps. Is this a case of the 10,000 power bank needing to charge up b4
large
power drainin weapons will fire???

Engine damage? Weapon damage? RCS PBC cannons draining more energy? Aczanny
ECM drain?

The order of charging is:

PDs, SmWs, LWs, SupWs and finally Powerbank (if at least one of the power
boost switches is on)
