Hello,
I need help I have turned off my virus and firewall software and tryed
clean booting to get the client running it will have a popup with
something like cant load steam.dll.
The client starts to update when i click and gos to 28 0r 32% and
restarts I have downloaded the newest and tryed it's the same.
I'm trying to play half-live classic.

yea im having the same problem steam client restarts itself after i
update 30- 36 % i tried searching the problem but search results come
up with reinstall steam or change firewall settings and stuff, but i
don't get the pop up

I think i found the solution, try going to steampowered website then
in the support section search for update restarts then you'll find
what solution under "2 New - Steam Crash: Crashes during update"

well give it a go and see

Thank you for your reply.
I have looked at your suggestion.
Steam now say's they have determined the problem is in there servers
affecting Dialup user's and they will have it fixed soon.
