No sound or video on Version 10 PS2

This is a ps2 that my friend owns. It was modded professionally with a
dms3 modchip and has been working just fine until recently. Whenever
the reset or eject button is hit, it turns on, the dvd drive spins, but
there is no audio or video output. All video/audio connections to the
tv are connected properly. Could anyone help me troubleshoot this
issue? Thanks

why do people mod these things?

Just get HD Loader Free and Cogswap loader (sksapps.com)
Install them on your memory card so you can boot them with PS2MenuK

have fun without even voiding the warranty
