Is it still possible to softmod any new Xbox for sale in stores? Or
must one buy a used, older one? I'd like to run homebrew on an original
Xbox and am not interested in Xbox Live.

Are original Xboxes even sold new in US stores, or have Xbox 360s
replaced them all?

Finally, if all I want to do is run homebrew, would it be better to get
a slim PS2? Presuming these can be softmodded. I'm not interested in
mod chips.

*Has* anyone seen original, non-used Xboxes for sale anywhere online?
Or would it be best to grab one off eBay or a "reconditioned" or used
one from EBGames?
