I bought a Sandisk Cruzer 1GB a while ago to save Day 1 files from the
internet to use on my Codebreaker, but my slimline PS2 does not recognize
the flash drive. I've tried reformatting the flash drive and removing the
U3 software that it installed on my computer, but my Playstation still
won't recognize it. Is this a problem with my flash drive or with slimline
PS2s?

The PS2 doesn't natively recognize any USB devices. It's up to the game to
provide drivers. What does the Codebreaker instructions say?

I got an Action Replay Max Cheat disc with a pen drive so I can download and
transfer new cheats from thei website.
It's the software, not the hardware that recognises the pen drive.
