Another, cheaper option, would be to buy an older edition of Fritz 8
(wholesalechess.com sales it for $19.8
Once you enter the serial number into Fritz and its registered to the
account, you will be able to log in using your chessbase 9 software using
the same account info.
I bought a couple of copies for less than $40.00 so now I have two more
years of playchess.com
