Why make fun of the guy? Theres nothing wrong with cashing out at the
end and there are people who buy this stuff, even if you wont.

This is just same same logic as gold buying, except buying an account
really has zero effect on any other players. You're just paying say,
400$ to save 200+ hours of work per 60.

The main reason is that Blizzard can cancel accounts because of this, so
it's good to let a potential buyer know that before spending the money,
only to have his new (yet unearned) account canceled.

Sadly enough theres always someone that will dish out cash to avoid
doing the work themselves.

Thats where you are terrible wrong.

Many that buy accounts havent even played before. They wanna take
easystreet to get started fast, they are buying account for they kid,
they have a single char say a warrior and they wan't to skip levelling
up themselves but always wanted a lock, and so on.

Now when that person who gets the account gets online with lets say
the lock, they will be thinking damn this is great, lets go to an
instance to test it out.

They are lucky theres a pug assembling to ZG, now how many times do
you think that pug will wipe becourse the tart that bought the
account, have no clue about how to play the class at all?

And how is it again that account buying don't affect others?

Levelling up is where you learn to play the class, if you have not
done that, you have no clue about those 50 spells you have and what
they do and when to use them.

And the learning curve will be rather steep if you get it all at once.

Doing the hard work yourself will teach you in smaller steps, often
class quests will teach about some of the abilities you get and when
to use them.

Buying accounts is even more sad than buying gold imo.

I really dont get whats troubleing you, so maybe im stupid :S
My exact situation is that im quitin game, so I wanna make use of this
chars and not to drain it away with 2.5 year exipirience.
Someone could make great use of them, no matter doest he played game
before or not. Its true if buyer didnt play before will need some time
to learn, but now when TBC is out lvling to 60 is pain in the ass. Also
if you have friend you wanna get into game, would you like him to go
trough quests for about 3 months or start Outlanld together with you
right away?
And about company they would like more for someone to continue paying
monthly fee than close account. Their policy is made to stop reallife
trade bussines with accounts. I have buyed other account when I got
tired of lvling and wanted to gank with some 60rougue char, if you do
it properly noone will close account, even know about selllin.
And about pugs, no boutght accoung/character/class makes teamplay, its
person on other side of PC screen that makes teamplay good no matter
account is bought with 60's or no char.

Or you could make good use of the poor sob who buys your tainted
account.

I don't say it is tainted, but how can anyone know if you didnt bot,
sold gold, was a real pita and hated everywhere or even have 4
ninjaing chars all wellknown to the whole realm?

Buying accounts is more risky than most think at first.

And regarding if I had a friend joining.

I would let him go through level 1-70 so he/she learned about the
game, and SW or IF or any other big city is still exiting for new
people. I would most likely make a char myself to level with them, now
that's what a real friend would do, not getting them set up with a
bought probably tainted account.
