Post subject: Sega Saturn schematic?
Archived from groups: alt>games>video>sega-saturn (more info?)

Does any one have or know where I can get a schematic for a Sega
Saturn? I have one that comes on (the green power LED comes on), but I
don't get any A/V output, the motor doesn't so much as twitch and the
laser assembly doesn't come on. On the power supply output pins, I am
getting 5v on the line marked 5v, but I am also getting 5v on the line
marked 3a. In my experience with most game systems (and electronics in
general), computers usually need a 5v line and a 12v line. I am
guessing that the line marked 3a is supposed to indicate 12 volts at 3
amps. I could be wrong (it's happened before!). That's why I need a
schematic.

If anyone can help, you can either respond here or (preferably) to my
email address ShelbyTV RemoveThis @bellsouth.NOSPAM.net

Of course, it goes without saying that you will need to remove the
..NOSPAM in the email address above.

I will really appreciate any help or advise that you can offer. I'd
like to get this going to add to my game console collection.

Does anyone know if the Sega Saturn processor ran on 3v or 5v?
