With my C172 and 182 I have been able to save flights in mid-air in order to
play around with scenery settings, or repeat landing approach. However,
with the PSS Dash 8 this doesn't work. The plane is up there cold, which is
not very healthy! As a check, on ground I have started APU, entered
details into FMS, and then saved. When I reload saved flight, it is in the
right place but cold. Is there a solution to this?

It's obviously set up for a "cold & dark" start. At your desktop go
Start/All Programmes/Phoenix Sim software/Dash 8/panel config where you can
change this. However, it is unlikely that your FMC input will be saved.
Complex a/craft such as this and the PMDG 737 do not save their state very
well. Smile

Thanks Iain. I thought complexity might be a factor.
