Yep. Things were tougher, and you couldn't just stand there anymore
picking your nose and spamming SS/Evis while watching TV with one eye,
and expect the mobs to fall over while you barely lost 5% health, if
that. Rogues are about stuns and other skills that keep you from
getting hit, that is why they were given gouge, cheap shot, kidney
shot, blind, evasion, ghostly strike, multiple talents that build up
your dodge and parry, etc. And of course, once you get Cloak of
Shadows at lvl 67, most DoT's become moot. You just have to actually
work and use all your rogues skills until you get there As for
being 'nerfed', I don't know about that- I'd say they were improved,
actually. They still kick major ass if played right and geared up
decently, you just can't stand in front of a mob with impunity and
beat them down as if you were a full-plate warrior or something,
without taking significant damage in the process. Which is as it
should be, IMO. >> Stay informed about: rogue is the most difficult character to level.... |

Of course.
We shall all the play the characters the way you play.
There's only one true class.
And one true spec for that class.
Thus it is in your opinion.
Which we must obey.
In reality, the situation I was talking about is a level 52 Rogue vs a
level 52 melee mob, solo, one on one.
Pre patch. Ambush, SS + Evis, Mob dead, you are at 50% health.
Doing what a rogue does, burst dmg to a kill a single non elite mob
down before it can dmg you over a longer fight. No evasion popped. No
Preparation popped, but perhaps Cold Blood.
Post patch. Same setup. Evasion popped. Cold Blood Popped. Health
15%.
Of course you won't be interested in that, you've just taken someones
post and turned it in a L2PLAY whine.
Some people...
