I definitely tried on weekends back when I last tried to sell the stuff,
but that was several months ago. If others say the stuff sells, I'll
give it a try again.

My rogue is level 60, so he is still leveling, rather than farming.
However, he does pickpocket every humanoid before attacking, and usually
ends up with a stack or two of the powder each evening I play him. I
keep one stack for myself (that has been there forever it seems), and
sell anything beyond one stack to vendors.

Guess I can comment since I have level 70 Rogue and level 68 Warlock

My first and main is the Rogue... Yes he is a little hard to level
up.. The trick with rogue is to stay in control all the time. loose
that and you will end up with vanish or sprint or a corpse run. Low
armor is an issue with rogues. The lowest melee armor in the game. But
compensated with the highest and fastest melee damage dealer. And you
can make up a lot of fighting techniques in starting the fight and
while fighting and how to end it.. Not many classes can come up with
the variaty of all possible and still effective styles of fighting.
Fighting style also depends on your opponet. Casters need to be
stunned most of the time with cheapshot as a starter and kidney shot
during the fihgt... With melee opponets you can choose whatever suits
you...

And one more thing to point up here... I was quite surprised with some
rogues who don't use finishing moves quite oftenly.. Always use them
even when your opponet is 1% in health... Some rogues don't use
poison.. I usually keep 2 stacks of Deadly poison and 2 stacks of
instant poison for pve.. although lately i prefer deadly poison.. and
always keep at least a stack of plash powder with you.. if you
calculate how much damage the poison can inflict you will be surprised
how high it is.. whenever you reach a level make sure to raise your
lockpicking to the max of that level, it will be very important when
you reach higher levels. pickpoket all you can as you can get
junkboxes to raise your lockpicking and get some reagents for your
poisons.

Yes rogues are hard to level.. but it gets much easier after level
50... And yes warlocks are easier to level up from start to end.. but
rogues are much more fun to play..

Good luck with your rogue... I know that it sometimes frustrate you
"I've been there" but the fun will come.. you just have to practice a
few techniques and you will come up with your own style of play.. then
it will be easier

The best thing about levelling a feral druid is that there is no
stopping to get health or mana back. You use energy or rage to kill
and when you are hurt you use your mana to pop a heal and carry on
straight away. By the time you need to heal again your mana is full.
It takes a really tough fight to make you stop to eat/drink/bandage
(in fact, I very rarely bandage, don't even carry food and only look
to replace my water when I get less than 10 left)

I reckon that I could get a feral druid to 70 faster than any other
class. It has the rogue's advantage of stealthing to objectives to
solo quests other classes can't. (with vanish there will be things
that a rogue can do that a druid can't but with healing there will be
things that a druid can do that a rogue can't)

How long has it been since you leveled a lock? My last lock I started
in April. At level 20 I managed to solo a 21 elite. Then again, no
class really becomes good until their 20's anyway.

In fact, I think my first death on that character happened at the
hands of a high level ganker when I first entered Hillsbrad. Of
course, having leveled a warlock before that also made it easier.
Considering the base talents for a drain tanking build can be gotten
by level 18, warlock is the easiest at the lowest level.

There is also DemonTrainer Continued, which replaces the Grimiore
purchasing screen with an interface that looks more like a trainer
interface.

However, after a few instances of purchasing a grimiore for a spell my
pet already knew, I stopped using this addon.

I found it easier to keep track by making sure to purchase the
grimiores everytime I visited a trainer. If the highest level
grimiore required the same level I was at, I bought it.

Of course, at level 70 you no longer need such interfaces either, so
its only a temporary convenience so long as you don't roll another
lock.

Yeah but because everything requires shifting to a different form,
leveling a druid can be much more complicated for someone who has
never played that class before. Figuring out just when to shift out
with enough health/time to heal yourself is something you have to
learn.

I think what really turns people off to druids is the 1-20 leveling.
1-9 you're stuck in caster form throwing out low powered attacks and
trying to conserve enough mana to heal yourself. Then you hit level
10 and have to fight a hard mob in order to get bear form. Fromo
10-15 in bear form things are somewhat easy, but then you start
getting into situations where its taking a real long time to kill a
mob and you have to shift out, heal, then shift back in and hope you
get the heal off in time or the mob doesn't interrupt the heal.
Bash helps, and taurens racial stomp also helps here.

Then you get to level 20 and they just hand you cat form without
asking to go talk to some ancient cat spirit or kill some difficult
mob, they just give it to you and suddenly you have yet a 3rd form to
try and learn to use. It might make killing mobs faster but this is
the 3rd learning curve for 1 class. Not to mention all the best cat
abilities and talents come further along, in the mid 20's, so 20 to
around 26 is yet a 3rd learning nightmare.

But if you can survive all that then you have one of the most diverse
classes in the game at your disposal. No matter what you spec for you
can still solo with a quick gear/form change. You have your choice of
tank, melee DPS, caster DPS, and healing. You might not be the best
class for all those positions but you can definitely do them if
required.

Just can't quite fill that CC or rezzer role though.

Out of interest I looked up the cost of levelling the various classes
on a site that keeps advertising while I'm playing. The price for 1-60
was the same for each class, bar 2 - hunter and rogue, which were both
cheaper.

Did the hunter cost include the pet training cost? If you checked hunter,
only, that wasn't enough.

And DAMN those books are annoying. How do you work out exactly which
books you've already bought and used? If I go for a few levels without
visiting the trainer, it takes me ages to pick through the books, I
think you only get the "already known" if you have the appropriate
demon summoned, is that right? So you have to summon imp, look through

well if spending half your time eating or bandaging sounds fun, then
yeah its an easy class. I personally think its all about the persons
play style.
