When I dbl click the exe nothing happens. Not even a cd spin. Clean install. System specs, 2.4 P4, 512m RAM, X800 256m card. Latest video/audio drivers. Tried installation with clean boot. Unable to install in safe mode (1607 error). Trial ran fine (it was been un-installed first). Ran reg cleaner, no rol entries that I could find after removal. Since there is no cd spin it's not safe disc issues. XP came with SP2 so I can't uninstall from add/remove programs (this isn't something i want to do anyway). I'm out of ideas. halo crashing - how do I stop halo from locking up inbetween internet games/maps and closing due to exception errors?

Halo crashing - Helo keeps locking up inbetween online games/maps and other times will close due to an excpetion error... What is the problem ?

Buffer Overrun in Halo: Combat Evolved - This problem happens occasionally when I play Halo Multiplayer for about an hour or so. Halo unexpectedly quits and shows an error saying that a buffer overrun has occurred. Why does this happen and what can I do to fix it?
