Hi

i wondered if anyone has ever had this problem with their sega mega
drive mega cd player as I dont know what is the matter with it?

It works fine when you put the cd in the player but here begin the
problem...frontal light turns on and begins to flick....and disc tray
makes a noise like....tac,tac,tac.....and finally appears a message
saying "press reset button to open disc".....It canīt read any cd (
music and games)

I would be greatful for any advice

Thanks for your help

Sounds like you're having some lens problems, either the track it moves
on isn't working as well as it should, or the lens itself is just plain
dirty. Check Google Groups for other Sega CD/Mega CD talk as we've had
a rash of people showing up lately with almost the exact same
problem(and solutions posted).
