I have a Dreamcast with a bad controller board. It was damaged
using a 3rd party controller. I tried doing the repair my using a
solder iron, and the replacement compactor using online instrucions,
but I have limited use of my hands, and I ruined the board. Is there a
place I can either buy a replacement board from, or send the unit in
for repair? I see that there are some sites selling brand new units
for $100.00, and I've seen some selling them used for $40.00. Would I
be better of just buying a used unit for $40.00 ($55.00 after S&H)?

Hello!

It would be better to just buy a used Dreamcast...I see them at the
Goodwill here for between $10-$20 dollars all the time, sometimes with a
game in them!!

You can send it in for repair to "Sega Parts," Sega of America's authorized
repair center. The cost is $55.
