Hi,

which programs (add-on) would you buy for a "closer to real flight"
feeling??
Could you provide a list of what you think necessary ?

Thanks.

Well, I can't help you with list of add-ons but while reading your question
I started thinking "what can simulate your emotions?".
So, for "closer to real flight" you would need something to make you nervous
(if you're just started your flying), something to make you sweat (air
conditioner is not working and that guy on tower makes you hold for 15
minutes on downwind waiting for some A320 on outer marker and outside is 37
C), something to make you dirty (at least your hands while doing preflight
check) and something to embarrass you (like mine last flight when I failed
to latch right (and only) door properly so had to land back at the airport,
close it and take-off again... Smile

If you're talking out the window appeal, rather than the airplane, start
with high quality mesh such as FS Genesis, then top it off with something
like Ultimate Terrian (available for the USA, Canada/Alaska, & now Europe),
with a little extra "soul" from General Enviornment, and the earth will be
earthier. Then add Active Sky to make the friendly skies more
believable..... There's tons of other more detailed scenery for specific
areas, such as Aerosoft Manhattan, and photorealistic offerings (best viewed
>3,000' agl), so just pick the area you want to spend the most time at..

You can't approach the maximum realism and immersion possible with a desktop
simulator with just an add on aircraft. To do this requires an integrated
system that includes the computer, the controllers being used, and then the
proper add on aircraft.
Considering you have a high end system and are using a controller setup that
includes a non force feedback top line stick or yoke, a separate throttle
unit, and a set of rudder pedals with differential braking capability, you
can then purchase an add on from any top of the line developer. I happen to
like RealAir. This developer has gone outside the box with flight dynamics
programming for MSFS and in my opinion offers top of the line add on
aircraft in both the general aviation and military categories that come
extremely close to duplication of real life flight dynamic conditions.
The bottom line is that any good add on developer will give you a bit more
realism, but to go all the way to "as real as it gets" with MSFS, you need
more than just the add on aircraft itself.
