Hi. I'm pretty new to planets, and hosting my first game (first turn is
currently underway).

One of the players in this game, playing Draconions, has received the
following message in his in-game inbox:

You do not have a race set. You need to choose a race.
Available races: 802 101

His turn seems to be fine apart from this stange message. Is this
message indicative of an actual problem, and if so, how do we go about
fixing it?

Problem possibly solved (althoug this brings me to another apparent
bug)...

All the players seem to have varying numbers of old, irrelevant
messages that are (I'm guessing) holdovers from earlier test games I
hosted in the same universe slot.

The "No Race Set" message seems to be one of these.

Cool, that's what I was guessing (although I hadn't thought about
clearing out the war dir as well).

Can I assume all will be back to normal next turn?

Forgot to ask: Can I assume that nothing else has been left over that
might cause problems in the current game?

You need to manually delete all of the contents of planets4/war/(game
number) and planets4/univ/(game number) or the last set of messages is
rolled over. Clearing the slot doesn't work fully.
