Post subject: "Must-have" quest rewards/drops in TBC?

For those of you in the beta, has anyone compiled a list of "must-have"
quest rewards and drops (and, more importantly, how to get them?)
By "must-have", I mean items that a lot of people try to get because
they're so nice. In the current 1-60 game, some examples would be:
Lavishly Jeweled Ring
Cruel Barb
Toxic Revenger
Illusionary Rod
Whirlwind Axe/Sword
Robes of the Lich
Zum'rah's Vexing Cane
Gemshard Heart
Thrash Blade
Rod of the Ogre Magi
Band of the Ogre King
Skullforge Reaver
Dal'Rend swords
Draconian Deflector
Painweaver Band

the staff is on par with the staff of dominance from molten core, and

there is an 2h axe too, and all of the rewards are blue...but are on par
or better than the current gm/hwl weapons.

Must-do quest in Hellfire Peninsula for the Horde:
"The Assassin", tagged as level 62, I think you get it at 61 but I'm
not sure.
It starts a chain that unlocks the main horde questing hub in Nagrand,
a level 65-68 zone.
It's the new Mankrik's Wife, so while we're at it, here are the

Could you post the name of the quest, so we can tag as "must do"?

Ring of Blood, Nagrand.. *really nice rewards*, cool fights, I
especially liked the Shaman Ogre there.

As usual, no swords... I tend to think Blizz have forgotten that swords
rogues exist, I've only seen I think three swords as quest rewards  And
the 2.0 speed *mainhand* sword from the Consortium really bugs me, given
most their stuff is rogueish, but that sword is utterly useless to me :-/

paladin quest help - i'm currently a level 14 paladin, i just started the paladin quest given by the trainer in the Stromwind, in the Cathedral. 1st was to give linen to a lady there, did that. 2nd one i'm having a bit of trouble with, i'm suppose to go met a dwarf who is..
new quest maximum? - Did the patch update the quest maximum to 25, or does that just change as you gain higher levels? (I just got to level 20 and noticed the increased max quests.)
resizing the quest log? - Is this possible? I've tried dragging the edges but nothing happened. It'd be nice to see more quests on screen at once. Thanks. |
