I don't have a problem with quest rewards or world drops but there is one
thing that really does irritate me. Instance drops, why oh why oh why. A
simple bit of coding to filter the loot tables so that only items usable by
those classes in the instance drop. It's really something they could do with
great ease, not at all difficult but then I guess it's all about keeping us
coming back for more, and back for more, and back for more... oh and those
monthly subs ofc. >> Stay informed about: Why aren't all quest rewards customized for your toon ? |

Me too. I do them for the XP, and to actually have something concrete to
do.
The physical reward is an added bonus if it's a nice one.

So what? MONEYYY
Quests that don't offer rewards you can use are nice if you want to save up
a little In Outlands, some of the long chains have about 8 quest
rewards, so every class does get its choice. (eg. the Nesingwary Safari
missions)

It's not so 'cheap' when it's worth 10g to vendors

I noticed that both Deadmines and Wailing Caverns have
quests that give a huge rewards that my guys can use.
+11 agi armor for my rogue (!), and a staff with
+7/+7/+7 stats and 20dps (!!) for my druid.
I was sort of wondering if it was worth the effort to
do these instances, but those quest rewards seal
the deal.
There are other quests that have good rewards, but
in general I do all the quests just because they're
quests, not because of enticement.

That's really the only place I ever get gear until I get to 60 (now
70). Blizzard scales things pretty well. Heck, I'm 55 and I'm still
wearing a necklace I got at 32 becuase it's just that good. (Scarlet

Lol agreed soo much, it's always plate when there's a druid tanking or
cloth +heal when there's a druid healing, druid leather when I'm the only
leather wearer, mail when there's no hunter or if there is one the mail
will have shaman stats (highest shammy in my guild is lvl 50 atm ), etc
etc. Instances tend to be a good supply of shards, but if there's not even
an enchanter you're cursing

It would make more sense to me to have the rewards related to the quest
giver. He/she can only give as a prize things that they would be able to
get their hands on. Like the earlier Qs - westfall stew.

Spirit doesn't reduce the spell resistance of your targets. It
improves mana & health regen rates.

For having 6 chars around clvl 50 and ready some time in the
future for TBC, i startet checking quests/rewards for this chars.
I know that they will have bad gear starting TBC, so the first quests
should get gear. I add this list, sorry for using german words and
pointing the quests/rewards to a german database, but should not any
problem to check out thottbot or allkahazam instead

Um, what? Spirit has nothing to do with it whatsoever. Spirit is a
completely useless stat for a warlock. "Spell penetration" is perhaps what
you're thinking of. *

You would have to break it down more then that. most classes have 2-3
different types of builds. what is good for a prot speced warrior isn't
going to be worth anything to a furry warrior. As for me a holy spec'd paly
who looks to damage gear (don't get me started on the fact all good spell
damage gear is either daggers or staffs) I don't care about plate with str
on it. I sit with about 2-2.5 thousand more mana then any other paly i see.
but again i am built different and what is good for another paly i wouldn't
want as a quest reward. >> Stay informed about: Why aren't all quest rewards customized for your toon ? |
