Post subject: As promised, back at the end of August ...

| ....I tried to post the pics of Sheba, her kittens, my puppy, and Dad, but
the first batch did not show up. I will hold off on the second and third
batch until I figure out what I did wrong. Perhaps it is because I inserted
the .bmp's rather than the .jpg's? Any clues out there?

It could well be. .bmp files are pretty big.

It's probably that they were BMPs. Or that they were too large. I find that
my server won't let me post anything over 600 kB, so if posting multiple
images I tend to reduce the image size to no wider than 600 pixels, convert
to JPG and reduce filesize to around 100kB per image.

society. Buster is getting his knackers lopped, so I have to go in and

alt.binaries.games.the-sims - Did something happen to the newsgroup alt.binaries.games.the-sims? I got a error message this morning saying that it's not available anymore, and it disappeared from my subscribed groups! BD |
