Im not sure if this has been suggested or not but..

Would it be possible to be able to use right mouse button as a remove tool
when a road/rail "lay track" is selected, instead of having to click the
remove button?
This would make construction and modifications of road/rail alot quicker.
Just a suggestion.

Regards
Reuben

I've heard a lot of suggestions, but I can't remember ever having heard this
one.

I think it is safe to assume that it is in fact possible. It is just a
question of priority and effort from the development crew.

I wouldn't be surprised if you were right.

I'm not sure if the right mouse button isn't handled at a much lower
level and never makes it to the construction handlers.

I find that using the bulldozer hotkey, I can remove things very quickly.
Just hit the key to the left of "1" ("~" for me) to toggle the bulldozer.

That's right, it's handled in DoAllPlayerActions in a such way that
right-clicking a landscape view area always triggers the view drag mode.
(GenerateMouseDragEvents checks only the left button, too.)
