Half LIfe 2 problem

I have gotten to the lab and the girl
opens the door to the HEV suit. I go in
and push the button to open glass that
surrounds the HEV suit and go to put it
on and it wont let me put the thing on.
What am I doing wrong??

If you've done the "sv_cheats 1" and "impulse 101" then you already have an
HEV suit and cannot put another on.

Unfortunately, you cannot proceed until you put on the suit in this scene.

Therefore, if you did indeed use "impulse 101" then you must either load a
previously saved game (one w/o an HEV) or restart a new game.

If you do not already have an HEV... then I don't know what is preventing
you from putting on the suit.
