I'm not sure it is related to FSNav, but recently I down loaded the most
current data for FSNav and re-ran the database builder so the new waypoints
and intersections, etc. would show up in FSNav. Following the database
creation, I clicked the "save to FS" button then exited the database
builder, started FS9 and the default airport and plane loaded fine. Later, I
tried to go to Heathrow and was promptly deposited about 32 miles south of
the north pole. I tried several other European airports with the same
results. I believe most of the Oz airports work okay as well. BUT. I have
no parking spots available. For example I can select Atlanta, KATL but
cannot choose any ramp or gate. The only option is active runway.
What Happened? I know running the FSNav database had no effect on FS9, but
I am not sure what happens when I click the 'save to FS' button after
creating the new database. I have done that before without any problem.

Hi Danny,
Sofar I know I never safe to FS from the FSNAV. After creating the waypoints
etc it is automatically safed in FS9. I think it's not neccessary because
FSNAV is already in the FS modules file. If you want more parking spaces you
have to look for e.g. AF2_EHAM.bgl files of that airport.
Hope this will help you.

Hi Wim. It is not that I need more spaces at Heathrow. There are plenty of
spaces there. But once I select the Go to airport from the menu, and choose
Heathrow, for example, I usually select a parking gate or a ramp parking
space to begin the flight. But the only option available on the drop down
menu is the Active Runway. I have read the help file in FSNav regarding the
Save to FS button but it is too brief to be of any value. I assume it
updates the FS fixes and waypoints so that they will now show up on the Map
view in FS9, such as the new Pechy and Dirty intersections that were
recently added to the Atlanta STAR for arrivals. I downloaded the airac
0608 again this morning and re-ran the database builder in FSNav but nothing
improved in FS9. If you are familiar with FSNav, and it seems you are, I
have no problem in selecting 'MOVE AIRCRAFT TO HERE' once airborne. Actually
from that Artic location, I just go to SLEW mode, press the Q key once to
begin a gentle assent, switch to FSNav and choose Move Aircraft to Here,
then press the A key to descent to the tarmac. So I can go to Heathrow that
way with no problem but it is just different.

Hi Danny, you can use "move aircaft to here"only during flying. Thats about
all I know. It should be something in your FS9 if you get no parking places
in the start menu.
I got the lot up to nr: 150

I'm not familiar with FSNav, but if you want new intersections for
KATL, I have posted FLCON and PECHY STAR's over at AVSIM in .bgl
format. I'm planning on posting the rest of them w/in the next week or
so.

You do not necessarily have to be 'flying', but you do have to be off the
ground to use the FSNav menu option "move airplane to here". That is why I
sometimes use the slew mode to get my wheels off the ground, especially if I
want to move from one Parked location to a second Parked location.
Yes, there are plenty of parking spaces, they just don't show up. Not sure
what is going on with FS9.
Anyone else what to take a stab at solving my problem.

I don't see how you can fly without FSNav. Number 1 add-on in my opinion.
But, I have already downloaded a new afcad file for KATL with the new runway
and new intersections. They show up fine and ATC will direct me to 10/28
occasionally.

To answer your initial question about the NavData. There was a bug in the
first release of 0608 and a new version is now available. Try it and see if
this corrects your problem.
