I had ArcadeOS running for a while but I hated it, Way to much stuff to
configure for me, it did look great when done but I opted for the use of the
Acrade VGA card from Ultimarc and MAMEWAH for my frontend. This combo was a
Breeze to set up and it looks IMO better than ArcadeOS. The only thing to
remember is that if you choose the ArcadeVGA card is that the voltage from
the card is less than the monitor likes (sometimes) so you could get a dark
but usable screen. There as also an adaptor for this on the site to correct
this. I have mine running a 25" Neo-Tec monitor Win XP 64 meg ArcadeVGA 2
120 gig HHD's AMD 2200+ with 512 meg ram Works great on almost every game in
mame.
