Are prices in FM inflated?

When playing FM and wanting to buy a top class player, I've found that
often you'd sometimes have to pay between 25 and 40 million to get the
players you want. Looking at some of the players that have moved in the
summer, this simply isnt the case in real life and has left me to
believe that the prices in FM are indeed inflated.
If you look at some of the players who have moved, Henry, Luca Toni, Klose.

What do you reckon?

totally agree with you
my team is full of african players as I can't buy any brazilians or
english players due their high high costs
