Well I certainly didn't intend for my remarks to have the effect that you
would feel stupid. I apologise. =(

Frankly I think your grasp of the language and its idioms is wonderful. I
can speak only a tiny fraction of any language other than "The Queen's
English". So in my book, you are not only very smart you are Very Brave!

I believe Caro was being delibdrately (<---ooh! I think I'll keep that one!
lol)obtuse in order to make a joke upon herself, re: the remark about being
"round". (Correct me if I'm wrong) And I was "playing along". Neither of
us is spiteful like that.

That said I do regret that it had a bad effect on you.

Enjoy!

Perhaps you could get out some Naven steak and brains from the AGC Freezer
over there *points* (If its not in a recalcitrant humour), and we could
make a Steak & Cabbage Pie with some of those herbs....?

That is a picture of a Colander. (pronounced "Cullinder"). I have one
exactly like that (Same colour too) hanging over my kitchen sink. That is
not, however, a sieve. A sieve is of finer stuff. =`}

don't even have a full grasp of the "Queen's English", even though
I've been mangling it all my life.

Yup, that's exactly it. "round" as in tubby, or fat, which I am and
thus I pretended to be upset with myself for calling myself "round"
(or something like that, I'm starting to lose the plot now, but that's
the way what's left of my brain works and x0tix is familiar with it)

> Neither of us is spiteful like that.

Gracious, no. There's enough depression and unkindness in the world,
I would never add to it in any way. Anything I say is always intended
as play, unless I'm trying to answer a serious question to help
someone.

*hugs all round* <--darn, there she goes again!
