Hey xOtix I thought you might like to see this... <grins>
I was flipping through AGC posts from eons back (whilst working on AGC's
history (yes I'm trying... rather diligently I might add Wink )...
I just by complete accident stumbled on the name you were looking for... I
think... Cimmerae?

Come, come. Have you never heard of "recycling"? In this age, when
we all need to be envionmentally conscious, it's imperative that we
let nothing go to waste or lamdfill. The stuff that comes out of the
carpet has high nutritional and carbonated value, and what isn't
rendered down into Pink Bubbly is pulped and added to the compost in
the garden. Where else do you think such magnificent great purple,
green-and-pink spotted squdgelitties could grow?

Tsk, insanity is merely a sub-condition of sanity, and it comes in
several flavours and colours.

I'm becoming a carnivore... at least this way the stuff will be
processed at least two times already before I eat it.

Poker!? I don't even know 'er (that well)!

Semi-seriously, what are the rules of poker? Apparently, it's a lot more
complex.

Huh?

There are several varieties, but basicly it's getting cards (five per
person), betting, exchanging as many of your cards for new ones, betting
again and once you are finished betting (and the others havent all
passed) putting your cards on the table. There is a ranking of the
several hands. The trick is betting in such a way that you lose low
amounts and win karge amounts. And even if you have bad cards you may
still win, if you are good at bluffing - and nobody will ever know.
I only know the basics myself, but it can get quite interesting.
If you want to I might even be able to dig up a list of the different
hands.

Hmm. It's the different hands that, in previous explanations, I've found
hardest to remember--with pazaak, you only have to remember the number
twenty.

Possibility: can one simply bring more money to the table than anyone else,
and keep betting until no one can match your contribution?
