I posted about Seasons, but it doesn't seem to have "stuck..

I had an odd experience. Everything installed okay, but the first time
I loaded the game, although it said seasons and the music was seasons,
the screen I got looked no different than the old sims. Game tips came
up, but they were tips about Pets!

I couldn't get any season action anywhere. Nothing seemed different.
And all my custom content had not loaded even though I'd told it to.

I got out, reloaded, and second time was fine. A few funny things, though:

1) There's a clothing store that came with the original game. I forget
what it's called right now but it's someth street name, 320 Something
Street. Small, hip boutique with brown marble floors and bathrooms
upstairs. Now the clerks are missing, and they can only try on clothes,
they can't buy them. The other clothing stores all seem okay. I don't
know if this just happened because of Seasons...I admit I haven't taken
my sims clothing shopping in a while.

2) What's with the changing into outerwear before going out? Sometimes
they do it on their own and sometimes they don't. Same with townies...I
sent a sim to a lot and she met up with other sims from the 'hood. Some
were in winter jackets, some were not. (I'm playing winter.)

3) At least one lot no longer has a transportation option. This may
have happened pre-Seasons, though. They could not get a cab option, and
these are original phones, no hacks. I finally had to build 'em a
driveway and give 'em cars.

4) I've had lots of rain in my winter but no snow. How long do I have
to wait?

5) I hear a season lasts five days. Is that per neighborhood or per
lot? Because if it's the latter, eventually all the lots are going to
be out of synch with their seasons, just as they are now with aging.

6) How is it that sims are preganant for three days but seasons last
*five* days? Hmmm...

About Pets and Uni in fact every other expansion but nothing about
Seasons.

I've played spring in one house and it rained every day.I even had
three thunder storms,changed houses and didn't have a drop for five
days.

They are unless you play in rotation all the time.I had one Sim go
to the clothing store and every Sim there was dressed differently even
if it was winter and it was snowing.Five days per lot.

I didn't have any problems installing the game last week but
yesterday,boink...the game wouldn't start,seems like it couldn't read
the audio files.It ran just fine for three days.I had a system restore
tried to reinstall but stuck at sound files three times.
I finally installed it in my other account and i could play in both
accounts.I don't get it.
Don't know if it will run today though.

I think the problem is Pets.It never ran really fine.
