Commodore basic it would be:

When I was banging that out I thought "I just KNOW someone is going to debug
6 simple lines of code because I can't get it right." Too funny G!

Man, I remember spending hours writing basic stuff for sprite games when the
Vic-20 came out. I wish I had not moved on to other things. It would have
been a fun career.

Lol, I never had a vic, but used the 64 until about 93 or 94. I wrote a
few programs, ones that come to mind is a prog for finding redifined
character sets in games and such, and saving them in a file so they can
be used elsewhere. I also made a cool little program that you ran, and
then put your save disk for the game Phantasie or Phantasie II, and it
maxed out the experience and gold on your characters. I made another to
do the same for "Mail Order Monsters" (I wish they would make a game
based on the same principal today). We also modified a modem and wrote a
program that would dial a number, , wait a couple seconds, then start
saying something over and over for 20 seconds or so, then hang up and do
the same all over, only with the next number. We had it say "Red Rum"
over and over. . what fun. . .
