I always played first-person shooters (FPS): Wolfenstein 3D, Doom,
Quake, Half-Life 2, and their multiplayer variations. I needed an
instant gratification. The role-playing and strategy games were always
boring to me, because they had a learning curve, and no instant
gratification.

However, as time was going on, last holiday season I decided to try a
simulation game. I liked everything associated with submarine warfare,
so that I chose "Silent Hunter 4". I got a collectioner's version from
UK. I installed the game and the latest patch. I thrawled the
Internet, and I learnt about the must-have mods (I like the visual
enhancements). I downloaded them and installed them. I ran the game
briefly, and I thought it had a potential.

Now I am thinking about getting a latest videocard (although my 7600GT
is enought to run the game at maximum settings). I searched the
Internet, and am attempting to bring the card from China. However... I
still have not got enough of motivation to sit in front of the
computer and start playing the damn game...

.... I must confess I am still a hard-core FPS gamer. I cannot even
play the single-player: I do not have enough of motivation (I got
through a third of HL2:Ep2, and abandoned it). The only game which I
can play is multiplayer FPS. Phew, that's it; I said it...

Thank you for your advice. I did a search on the Inetrnet. Perhaps,
you did some mistake in the name of the game. But I found this game !
It is called "Seaman 2",
http://www.destructoid.com/confirmed-seaman-2-better-than-the-original...ss-in-t

Unfortunately, it is for PS2 only. I have a PC.
