Ya know... I felt so bad that I hadn't used TrackIR for so long and
that everyone was having a good time with it, I dug it out and dusted it
off. Now I have a problem I didn't have before. Some aircraft VC panels
work ok, but others freeze and jerk.
That's just an observation, not a request for help (unless you think of
something I haven't already checked)
I'm sure it's because I have this poor computer over-burdened with
non-essential junk that it's dying. Another reason to upgrade when
Vista is shipped with...
===========================================================
I ran Ad-Aware then Spybot, deep cleaning out all the junk.
Ran a full virus check.
TrackIR software is up to date. The device is not plugged in to a hub.
OS is Windows XP
I unplugged the TrackIR and turned off the computer.
I tried TIR on different working USB ports.
I'm not using a hub.
All reflectors on my hat are the only things visible on the Tracking Screen.
I am not running Active Camera.
All other software and hardware are functioning normally.
Rebooting my PC does not fix the problem.
A clean install of the software does not fix the problem.
Editing my registry to remove NaturalPoint entries and reinstalling the
software does not fix the problem.
NPRegFix does not fix the problem.
The heads move correctly with the hat when I have FS9 paused.
As soon as I pop open FS9 the heads freeze for a bit then jerk around
different directions. The computer screen doesn't always follow the jerks.
The "Hat" moves the VC Cockpit smoothly.
Did I forget anything??? I have to say again. TIR "used" to work ok. My
old TIR pages confirm it. Remember???
