| I was wondering about this, since I live in
a country where there isnīt any Blizzard-store. So do I have to pay by using
the internet, wouldnīt that be dangerous, Some adware-prog could see my
cred.card number for instance and spread it all over the internet.

I use my CC but if you're afraid that the number would be stolen, you
can always buy prepaid cards in a game shop.

I pay by credit card.
Look for the padlock symbol in the bottom of your browser when paying
for things over the net - this means the connection is secure. And I
would bet that Blizz have securely encrpyted the credit card details
they keep too. >> Stay informed about: what way do you pay for playing WoW |

Blzzard Stores don't exist anywhere, in any country. It's the shops
that sell the boxed game that should sell the prepaid cards, like
www.game.co.uk in the UK. >> Stay informed about: what way do you pay for playing WoW |

As long as you keep your computer up to date in terms of anti-virus and
anti-spyware programs, you should have no problems with a CC. I can't count
the number of purchases I've made over the internet over the last 10 years
or so, and I've never had a problem. Just exercise a little common sense
when giving out your info, and make sure that any screen you type your info
into is secure (look for the little lock, or an address that begins "https"
instead of just "http") >> Stay informed about: what way do you pay for playing WoW |

Unless your own machine is infected with some sort of spyware, making
purchases via credit card over the internet is as safe as anything
else you might use your card for - as long as you are buying from
reputable vendors.
Blizzard qualifies as reputable.
I've never understood the reluctance to use a credit card online that
many people have - those same people will hand their card to a total
stranger in a restaurant without a second thought. Online buying, in
general, is extremely safe.

What do you think? Blizzard makes a game with millions of subscribers ;
how many do you think pay by internet? If there were real security
concerns, do you think Blizzard would have this option?
I suggest a quick look at the Blizzard web site and thier FAQ on
subscritptions. >> Stay informed about: what way do you pay for playing WoW |

Yeah, I'm afraid I'm one of those folks who anxiously watches the
FedEx tracking information so I know exactly where my new toys are
while I wait for them to arrive. I'm a total gadget junkie. My
co-workers just roll their eyes when my latest toys arrive at my desk.
I'm sure they're all just jealous!

Make sure your windows is patched with all the security updates ...
www.windowsupdate.microsoft.com
Run a spyware scanner. www.lavasoft.com and may as well run windows defender
since windowsupdate will install it for you.
Use firefox instead of IE. www.firefox.com
You only have to enter your details once, after that they will automatically
bill you, so you dont have to keep sending your card details.
Given the above all check I wouldnt be too worried about using your credit
card. >> Stay informed about: what way do you pay for playing WoW |
