Hiya

I quite often play my paladin paired up with a buddy who plays his rogue.
It works fairly well, i try to keep him healthy, do some buffing, a bit of
tanking etc etc.
In turn he seems to dish out silly damage, but gets whacked if the mob goes
after him and
is above our level.

Sometimes though i lose track of him in messy fights and cant get him
healed/invulnerabilited
quickly enough.

Is there a simple way to set healing him to an icon or shortcut key? (icon
ideally). So that
i cant have to worry about clicking on him while in a close fight?.

Cheers.

Easiest way would be to create some macro's:

/target Roguefriend
/cast Blessing of Protection(Rank 1)
/assist Roguefriend

Replace the spellname's by whichever your heart desires, adjust the
rank and fill in the name of your friend Wink

The last line is optional, but in this case selects your friend's
target for you so you can continue fighting after your bubble or heal
is cast.

F2 and then the key for the heal will do it, but you lose your original
target.

Or, if you have an enemy targeted, you can hit the key for the heal
and then F2 - that won't lose you your original target.

Set up a simple macro:

/target buddy
/cast Holy Light

I don't do this much (I heal from portraits), but it is useful sometimes. *
