Question for anyone who knows anything about overclocking ..

I tried to follow the guide over at
http://devcast.dcemulation.com/mods/overclock/overclock.php I had
it part and down to the step where it says "detach the pin from the
clock chip. I used an X-acto knife. Be careful! As this pin is EASY to
detach from the board, which renders the DC useless!
Once your pin is raised, run your new clock to the pin and solder,
making sure that it is firmly in place."

But im not sure what to do. It sounds like what I have to do is lift
the one pin up and move it to the one aside of it then soder. I
thought both ends are glued together? Are there any better guides out
there?
