Surround sound won't work with World of Warcraft - Hi all, Hope someone can help me. I just hooked up my new Logitec x-530 speakers (5.1) to my P4 3Ghz pc (1GB RAM) and though other programs are the new surround set-up, World of Warcraft isn't! Seeing as that's mainly what I bought them..

I just bought "Gears of War" for my PC and would like to use my original XBOX
(not 360) controller to play. I have a USB hub that I can plug my controller
in to. The computer recognizes the XBOX controller as I have loaded a driver
that converts the XBOX controller to a PC controller. Everything seems to be
working from a computer standpoint, but "GoW" does not seem to recognize the
controller. Any solutions or work arounds for this? - thanks

I have the same problem and while im ingame my xbox360 light on the
controller lets me access the hub and send messages and all the buttons work
xcept when im ingame tryin to play sigh...ive messeged several pc users
online and none have responded with a solution. i am using a third party
controller from gamestop...that might have somthin to do with it???

After talking with the game manufacturer, Epic, it is the game that does not
recognize the controller, not the pc. I had to go by a new controller for 360
and everything now works fine. unfotunately I couldn't get around not having
to pony up the$$$ for a new controller...
